It’s about joy.

My name is Mandy, and I am the dirty hands behind Donohue Flower Fields. I am a wife, homeschooling mom to 4, and most recently a flower farmer. My kids and I wanted to study botany and germination rates in 2022, so we planted a bunch of seeds for our vegetable garden and some cut flower seeds, because who doesn’t love fresh cut flowers in their house?!?! Our business quite literally “bloomed” from that project. The seeds took off, and we had veggies and flowers for ourselves and a lot of our friends and family. I quickly learned how much I loved growing and arranging flowers. The next year, I decided to jump into flower farming and started Donohue Flower Fields. It wasn’t an easy process, and I have made lots of mistakes along the way, but what a fun journey this has been. I LOVE what I do. Growing these beautiful flowers from tiny seeds is so awe inspiring. It is amazing to see nature at work. Then seeing the faces of my customers or hearing their happiness when they receive their flowers is just the icing on the cake. I am convinced flowers spread happiness and having a little part in that happiness is just the best.

This is truly a family business, and my children are often in the field helping me. This is teaching them that hard work and perseverance pay off. We are passionate about being good stewards of our land and producing beautiful blooms for our community with minimal intervention. When you buy flowers from us, not only are you supporting a local farmer and small business, but you will also receive the freshest flowers possible. We cut and deliver your summer flowers within 24 hours. If you want fresh, unique, locally grown blooms, you’ve found the right place. Thank you for being here and supporting this dream of mine.
